Honda has released official images of the 2024 pure electric vehicle: Prologue. This model shares the Ultium platform with the Chevrolet Blazer and is positioned as a pure electric mid-size SUV. The price is expected to be more than US$40,000 and will be officially launched early next year.

In terms of appearance, the front face adopts slender headlights and a bright black closed grille. The bumper is equipped with vertical side ventilation slots on both sides and built-in fog lights. The air intake under the bumper is trapezoid-shaped, with a middle Equipped with radar device.

The body is slender, there is a larger trunk window behind the C-pillar triangular window, 19-inch wheels are standard, and 21-inch wheels are also optional. The tail lights at the rear and the black decorative strip in the middle echo the front of the car, and the thick silver-white guard plate under the bumper adds to the wild atmosphere.

In addition, the biggest change in the appearance of the 2024 Prologue is the new Honda:e word logo instead of the Honda logo, which increases recognition.

In terms of dimensions, the length and width of this model are roughly the same as the Honda Passport. The length is 4,877 mm, which is 74 mm longer than the Passport. The wheelbase is 3,094 mm, which is 277 mm longer than the Passport. The Prologue offers 25.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, enough for three large golf bags. With the 60/40 split fold-flat rear seats, cargo space expands to 57.7 cubic feet.

The interior design of Honda Prologue is similar to that of the new Honda CR-V and Accord, equipped with an 11-inch instrument display and an 11.3-inch touch screen, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and supports OTA updates.

The midsize SUV will be available in single-motor (FWD) and dual-motor (AWD) configurations and in EX, Touring, and Elite trims; the EX trim comes in black and charcoal or charcoal and light gray interior, while the Touring Finished in black, it comes with a memory driver’s seat and leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Elite models, meanwhile, come with black and charcoal, brown and black, or charcoal and light gray leather seats, sport mode and 21-inch wheels. In addition, the Elite model is equipped with a 7×3-inch head-up display (HUD). The Prologue also comes with heated front seats and an eight-way power driver’s seat with two-way power lumbar support.

Other features include gloss black trim, a leather steering wheel, a power liftgate, wireless charging, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a panoramic sunroof, and a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system and dual-zone climate control.

Honda Prologue is equipped with a lithium-ion battery pack with a capacity of 85kWh, with a maximum cruising range of up to 483 kilometers, a combined output of approximately 288 horsepower (215 kilowatts/292PS), and a maximum torque of 333 pound-feet (451 Nm) while charging. On the other hand, Honda Prologue is equipped with an 11.5-kilowatt home charging pile, and the 0-100% charging time may be less than 8 hours. A 7.6kW portable charging kit is also available. It is also equipped with a 155kW DC fast charging capability, which can increase the range by 105 kilometers in 10 minutes.

Honda will open this pure electric vehicle ‘s pre-orders within this year and be officially launched early next year, competing with Volkswagen ID.4Pro and Hyundai Ioniq5 cars.
